For years, Bihać in northwestern Bosnia and Herzegovina has been the final destination for thousands of refugees. Here is one end of the so-called Balkan routes and thus a strictly guarded gateway to the European Union.

Many refugees are stuck here indefinitely.
Most of the official camps, which would be suitable for many of the young men in Bihać, are located several kilometers away from the border and are often in poor condition.

In February we’ve (Ivan Furlan Cano) been to Bihać, Bosnia and Herzegovina, to report on the worsening situation people on the move are living in. The result is a 45-minute multimedia about the catastrophic situation at the EUs external border.
Take yourself some time to watch it.
