Sitara Thalia Ambrosio is a german Photojournalist and Visual Storyteller.
Ambrosio works internationally focusing on gender issues, migration, human rights violations, EU borders and conflicts. She aims to create thought-provoking visuals, with a focus on changing perspectives and dialogue, through photography and other media. Ambrosio integrates parts of her work into educational work presentations at schools and universities on the subject of migration. She is also engaged to shine light on gender issues in her own industry. Therefore Ambrosio also speaks on this topic at panels e.g. for the European Federation of Journalists (EFJ). She is a member of the German Female Photoclub. Her clients include the NZZ am Sonntag, Redaktionsnetzwerk Deutschland, Zeit online, Veto Magazin, Missy Magazin, Greenpeace Magazin, Taz, WOZ die Wochenzeitung and many more.
